Park Street Shooting In Allentown Under Investigation

Authorities in Allentown are investigating a shooting early Friday morning, Dec. 8 that sent the victim to the hospital.

Police were called to the 500 block of Park Street between Liberty and Allen streets around 1:45 a.m., the department said in a release.

They arrived to find a man suffering from a "non-life-threatening" gunshot wound, according to officials. The victim was treated at the scene and taken to the hospital, they added.

No arrests had been made as of Friday afternoon and police say the shooting remains under investigation.
